Lazy, lazy, lazy... No my account hasn't been hacked:)

It's a very rainy morning at a very quiet island.... And we have to leave today.
Bald Head is one of the few places I can truly relax... No cars, car seats, rushing, rarely a phone signal....
and it has come to an end.
My wifi has connected and the e-mails are popping up... Meet the teacher, Sunday school teacher orientation, soccer snacks, ballet shoe measuring and ordering.
It's 9:30 and I haven't moved... On a normal day ...I would have 4 people (3 little ones) dressed, beds made, diapers out, searched for matching shoes... Gave up on matching socks.
And have people to places on time??
Time?? Time...
I am going to roll over... Pretend there isn't a ferry to catch.... And enjoy lazy slivers of time... where every second is savored.

We are retail!!! We want to order what you want to buy!!!

With Holidays rapidly approaching... We are ordering dolls, toys, dresses, keepsakes...

5 nutty Walkers on a Rainy Sunday

I am loving this rainy Sunday... as I try to learn blogger.
I am still in the bed... beside my sleeping 18 month old.

I hear the other two acorns that fell from our Oak tree downstairs with Daddy.

My oldest acorn starts kindergarten in 11 days :-(
So, We will take this lazy day as a gift and are looking forward to a fun week at In The Oak Treetops.

Project Party... This year in memory of Beth Keel Tuttle and Bobby Tuttle.
We would like to offer a birthday party for a child who may not have a birthday party this year.
For instance, maybe someone in the family is sick or you have a newborn etc, divorce or just a bad financial year.

 

 I think parties are such an important part of life... It's a gift of experience for each child who attends... I treasure my memories of Griffin's trolley ride party around Raleigh, the Amtrak trip to Burlington, Charlotte's first birthday party with live chicks and the live bunny " Esther" bunny and more eggs than the White House.

 And of course, the horse and carriage ride for all princesses and peas and mama in frog costume all around town!

Getting Started

So when everyone kept telling me I needed to start a blog. I laughed and said "In all my spare time"
Well!! I have started one and my spare time for today is up :-)
